TL;DR

Senior PHP Developer (PHP/Laravel): Building and maintaining scalable solutions for high-load products used by a massive audience with an accent on modular monolith architecture, clean code, and infrastructure-aware backend development. Focus on solving complex architectural challenges, applying Domain-Driven Design, reducing legacy code, and ensuring reliability through automated testing and DevOps pipelines.

What you will do

Build and maintain scalable backend solutions with PHP 8.3+, Laravel 13+, and MariaDB.
Help shape the architecture of high-load products and solve foundational technical challenges.
Develop modular monolith components using clear boundaries, scenarios, actions, events, and Domain-Driven Design.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while reducing legacy code and maintaining code quality.
Collaborate with experienced engineers on complex tasks across different domains and infrastructure areas.

Requirements

7+ years of backend development experience and 5+ years of PHP experience.
Experience with Yii2, Laravel, or Symfony.
Experience with SQL databases, caches, and queues, including MariaDB and Redis.
Experience writing unit tests and using Docker virtualization.
Knowledge of software development and architectural patterns, circular shifts, and bitwise operators.
English at B1+ level and strong LLM command.

Nice to have

Experience with compiled languages, TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, or other modern languages.
Knowledge of DDD, TDD, algorithms, data structures, and databases.
Experience with modular or service-oriented applications, Kubernetes, or AWS.
Experience with financial, risk analytics, or authentication systems.
Team management experience or interest in managing a team, and public GitHub activity.
