What you will do

• Own complex backend features end to end, delivering robust, high-quality code that meets performance, security, and scalability standards.
• Continuously improve system architecture, tooling, and build/release processes to reduce deployment bottlenecks and technical debt.
• Provide hands-on mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers via code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Promote modern engineering practices, including comprehensive automated testing and CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions around tools, APIs, and frameworks, and evaluate new technologies to accelerate development.

Requirements

• Proven Senior Software Engineer experience delivering software through design, development, release, and delivery cycles.
• Experience with SaaS and cloud-based applications.
• Strong backend development background with experience in C# and/or Python; PostgreSQL and AWS experience is expected.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
• Comfort working in an international environment and communicating effectively across teams.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, plus ability to analyze and propose best-fit technical solutions.
