Top-tier Software Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: Mid-level Job

What you'll do

• Develop high-quality software solutions as part of a fast-moving team.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver robust features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Identify and address performance and reliability issues.

Who you are

• Proven experience as a software engineer (mid-level or higher) with a track record of delivering technical projects.
• Strong programming skills and familiarity with modern development practices.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in building scalable web or backend services.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language used in the stack.
• Experience with modern development tools, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to work in Lisbon or remotely within the Lisbon time zone.

Tech stack

• Go, Python, or other backend languages
• Cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Databases and data modeling
• CI/CD tooling and automated testing
