TL;DR
Information Security Engineer Intern (Cybersecurity): Supporting monitoring, detection, and response efforts to keep systems and data safe with an accent on security operations, automation, and threat detection. Location: Hybrid role with office presence required approximately 3 days per week in Poland, Portugal, UAE, or the UK; remote work allowed from specified countries
Salary: PLN 9,100 gross monthly (Krakow and Poland locations)

What you will do
- Develop new capabilities for security monitoring and response platforms
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats
- Respond to security incidents and collaborate with engineering teams to fix vulnerabilities
- Automate and improve security monitoring, analysis, and response processes
- Support threat hunting initiatives and design data-driven risk detection solutions
- Learn and apply cutting-edge tools and technologies for security analysis and remediation
Requirements
- Must be in penultimate year of bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, or related field (graduating in 2028)
- Fluency in English required
- Full-time availability for Summer 2027
- Willingness and ability to attend office at least 3 days per week in specified locations
- Experience or interest in software engineering (Python) and data analysis
- Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with threat hunting, penetration testing, or Capture the Flag challenges
