What you will do

• Identify mathematical and statistical limitations in existing ML solutions and deliver provably correct alternatives.
• Validate the correctness of scaled solutions and redesign prototypes for distributed execution.
• Own the full lifecycle of improvements from research and prototyping through production deployment and impact measurement.
• Drive the evolution and scalability of personalization and recommendation systems.
• Conduct end-to-end data-driven research including problem definition, data collection, and model development.
• Mentor Data Scientists and ML Engineers on statistical and mathematical rigor across the organization.

Requirements

• M.Sc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience including significant production ML ownership.
• Experience taking statistically sophisticated models from prototype to production under real-world constraints.
• Strong theoretical foundation in Multi-Armed Bandits, Bayesian methods, online learning, or recommendation systems.
• Strong hands-on Python engineering skills and proficiency in SQL.
• Strong understanding of experimentation, causal inference, and statistical evaluation of online decision systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with probabilistic programming frameworks like PyMC or Numpyro.
• Familiarity with MLOps tooling, approximate inference methods (variational inference, MCMC), or PySpark.
• Experience in the Mobile Gaming industry.
