Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in Seattle (Hybrid)

Salary: From $200,000 base + stock options

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core enterprise platform systems ensuring security, reliability, and scalability.
• Build new API suites to integrate Avatar technology with external creative tools.
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Own long-term projects, breaking down ambiguous problems into iterative delivery steps.
• Evaluate system health using observability and monitoring metrics to ensure performance and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with product, security, legal, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Must have 7+ years of experience as a software engineer at a senior or staff level.
• Must have US work authorization (employment through US entity only).
• Strong expertise in development and system design, ideally with Python, React, and AWS.
• Experience building and operating enterprise-grade systems at scale.
• Proven ability to own systems in production, including incident response and reliability improvements.
• Strong alignment with building scalable systems that support long-term business goals.

Nice to have

• Experience across the full stack.
• Previous experience leading projects or mentoring other engineers.
