Vulnerability Analyst

What you will do

• Manage vulnerability scanning operations using commercial and open-source tools across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds and vendor advisories to identify and escalate emerging security risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and track practical remediation plans.
• Maintain vulnerability management platforms, scanner infrastructure, and automation workflows.
• Report on remediation progress and SLA compliance to leadership using metrics and data.
• Support audit, compliance, and governance activities through accurate record-keeping and documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in Portugal.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in vulnerability management.
• Proficiency with Qualys for scanning servers, desktops, and cloud workloads.
• Solid understanding of systems, networking, Linux, and Microsoft technologies.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, CVE, CVSS, and threat intelligence concepts.
• Strong communication skills to effectively bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting.
