What you will do

• Develop engineering solutions to drive continuous improvement in safety, uptime, and quality.
• Analyze manufacturing process data using statistical methods to identify and resolve issues.
• Manage change processes to ensure product quality compliance.
• Coordinate information flow between internal and external customers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop creative solutions for manufacturing challenges.
• Verify compliance with quality requirements and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (No H-1B, OPT, etc.).
• Must be able to work onsite in Rochester, New York.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and 3D CAD environments (Solidworks).
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies like Six-Sigma, 5-Why, or PDCA.
• Familiarity with statistical software such as Minitab.

Nice to have

• Experience with QDAS, PPAP, and SPC.
• Problem Solving or Lean Six Sigma Belt Certification.
• Understanding of ISO/IATF quality requirements.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SQL or database knowledge.
