What you will do

• Own the end-to-end motion design process from concept and story to animation and delivery.
• Develop motion systems that extend the brand into product UI, marketing, and editorial content.
• Produce product marketing motion assets including launch videos, explainers, demos, and social ads.
• Partner with product designers to implement micro-interactions, transitions, and feature walkthroughs.
• Establish tooling, templates, and standards to scale motion output without losing quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of motion design experience in brand, product, or marketing with senior-level ownership.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, timing, typography, composition, and polish.
• Fluency in After Effects, Premiere, Figma, and Illustrator.
• Ability to work quickly in a scrappy environment while protecting high craft quality.
• Must be based in New York City for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender.
• Proficiency with Rive, Lottie, or real-time tooling.
• Sound design and editorial instincts.
• Experience translating brands into product motion guidelines.
