What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka and optimize PostgreSQL data layers.
• Develop within a cloud-native environment using Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.
• Own features end-to-end, from initial requirements to production and maintenance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align on technical solutions and challenge assumptions.
• Mentor team members and drive code quality through reviews and CI/CD discipline.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial Java development experience (Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate).
• Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
• Deep knowledge of JVM internals, including memory model, GC tuning, and concurrency.
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• English: B2+ level required for team and stakeholder communication.
• Experience using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin development.
• Knowledge of DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing.
• Experience with gRPC, GraphQL, or MongoDB.
• Background in e-commerce, logistics, or fintech.
• GCP expertise (Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, GKE, Cloud Spanner).
