What you will do

• Partner with Account Managers to solve customer challenges through network architectural sessions and product presentations.
• Architect, design, and propose Arista Data Center, Routing, and Campus network and security solutions to drive sales.
• Perform hands-on customer proof-of-concepts and initial network deployments.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFQs and manage customer feature requests from requirements to deployment.
• Provide technical feedback to Product Management and Development and represent the company at industry events.
• Author technical white papers, blogs, and articles on networking technology.

Requirements

• Location: Based in Lagos, Nigeria to support Nigeria and West Africa.
• Employment: This role is a contract position on a B2B basis.
• English: Fluent (C1) proficiency required.
• Technical degree with practical experience in routing and switching protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS).
• Recent experience in Data Center, Routing, or Campus network architecture designs.
• Professional experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or in Pre-Sales.

Nice to have

• Practical security deployment experience.
• Recent hands-on CLI experience.
• Interest or experience in Netops/Devops using tools such as Python and Ansible.
• Arista Cloud Engineering (ACE) Level 5 or equivalent industry qualifications.
