TL;DR

Cloud Architect (VMware & Nutanix): Designing and implementing scalable, secure IT infrastructure based on HCI platforms with an accent on Nutanix and VMware Cloud Foundation. Focus on translating business requirements into technical specifications, governing design intent, and ensuring Day-2 operational readiness.

Location: Kosice, Slovakia. Remote work is available only within Slovakia.

Salary: From 2 200 € gross per month + 5 000 € Sign-On Bonus.

What you will do

• Lead structured discovery sessions to capture business drivers, workload requirements, and operational expectations.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements for performance, availability, security, and compliance.
• Translate customer intent into defined Network Modernization and SD-WAN engagement scopes.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure architectural outcomes align with agreed intent and scope.
• Validate that delivered outcomes align with approved architecture and service definitions.
• Ensure operational requirements for monitoring, scaling, and handover are captured in the design.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in HCI architectures across on-premises, edge, and private cloud environments.
• 3-5 years of experience positioning and governing Nutanix-based HCI solutions (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• 3-5 years of working knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (vSphere, vSAN, NSX).
• 2-4 years of experience with enterprise networking fundamentals and SD-WAN concepts.
• Mandatory certifications: VCP-VCF and NCP-MCI.
• English: B2+ level required.

Nice to have

• Conceptual understanding of Ansible-based automation for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle workflows.
