What you will do

• Map and document business workflows to translate them into effective Odoo use cases.
• Configure Odoo objects, permissions, and mail templates while developing custom modules using Python and ORM.
• Plan and execute Odoo version upgrades, ensuring existing customizations are refactored and tested.
• Deliver operational dashboards and visual reporting for leadership.
• Manage data migration, UAT, and hyper-care support during go-live phases.
• Maintain the third-party app ecosystem and ensure system reliability through automated testing and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Odoo development and implementation experience with end-to-end delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript.
• Solid experience with Odoo ORM, QWeb, and custom module development.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo version upgrades and code refactoring.
• Must be comfortable working in the Brisbane time zone.
• Proficiency with Git workflows and agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Odoo Enterprise and multi-company/multi-currency setups.
• Knowledge of API integrations and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Linux and Docker for deployment.
• Understanding of ANZ localization requirements.
