What you will do

• Take ownership of the React Native/Expo + Firebase codebase and keep it stable, maintainable, and well-structured.
• Lead hands-on architecture decisions to improve scalability, performance, reliability, and development velocity.
• Implement new features across mobile and backend systems, including Firebase/Firestore data models, security rules, and backend logic.
• Build and troubleshoot Google Calendar syncing and related integrations to ensure data accuracy and a smooth user experience.
• Maintain quality with unit testing, edge-case coverage, regression safety, and release readiness.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment workflows, and write technical documentation (architecture notes, setup guides, runbooks).

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development with significant hands-on full-stack experience.
• Proven experience owning and evolving a production codebase in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong React Native/Expo and modern JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency.
• Strong Firebase experience, including Firestore data modeling and performance/security best practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and sync workflows (Google Calendar experience is a major plus).
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release workflows; ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts simply.
