Salary: $171,900 – $269,075 (US-based zones)

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade ML models including ranking, retrieval, and LLM-based systems.
- Drive complex technical decisions and architecture plans that impact multiple teams over several quarters.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and model evaluations to back technical decisions with data.
- Develop robust feature engineering practices for offline training and online inference at scale.
- Mentor and guide junior and senior engineers to foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States or Singapore
- Extensive experience in designing and deploying production-grade ML models.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and solving complex architecture challenges.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching engineers to scale organizational impact.
- Ability to balance speed, risk, and impact in decision-making processes.
