What you will do

• Develop rigged characters and character export tools for external vendors.
• Build and maintain libraries of assets, materials, FX, and motion files for the previs team.
• Prepare assets for pre-production, including texturing, materials, and rigging.
• Build and debug shader and material graphs in both Unreal Engine and Maya.
• Support the art and previs teams with asset compatibility and pipeline troubleshooting.
• Assemble shots, animations, and cameras using Unreal Sequencer.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles, California.
• Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine asset and animation pipelines.
• Experience with character rigging and retargeting for Unreal Engine and Maya.
• Solid understanding of Previs, VFX, and CG shot production processes.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills within DCC software.

Nice to have

• Experience with Autodesk MotionBuilder.
• Familiarity with Perforce and ShotGrid.
• Strong understanding of film language, camera work, and animation principles.
