What you will do

• Design software layers for ML model interaction with real-time rendering engines, including data pre- and post-processing.
• Evaluate customer requirements to determine the optimal path between off-the-shelf tools and specialized research projects.
• Develop and maintain wrappers, APIs, and microservices to ensure a language-agnostic ML stack.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between leadership, customers, and core engineering teams.
• Decompose complex product visions into manageable, stable, and scalable architectural components.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect or Systems Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency with Git, Unix shell, and proficiency in Python, C++, or C#.
• Deep understanding of ML integration into production software, including API design and containerization.
• Strong communication skills to translate high-level vision into concrete engineering specifications.
• Must be based in or able to work from Montréal, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience in multi-disciplinary industries like robotics, smart grids, or aerospace.
• Experience with fine-tuning and deploying machine learning models.
