What you will do

• Support analysis and drafting on electricity market topics for publications and senior management briefings.
• Process large data sets to identify trends and developments across international electricity markets.
• Create figures and visual representations to demonstrate key insights and trends.
• Monitor and analyze international developments in electricity market reform.
• Collaborate with IEA divisions and external organizations to optimize division performance.
• Assist in preparing materials for workshops, briefings, and presentations.

Requirements

• University degree in economics, engineering, or policy.
• Experience analyzing electricity markets, preferably across multiple countries.
• Knowledge of technical, economic, and regulatory factors shaping electricity systems.
• Proficiency in processing large data sets using Excel.
• English: Excellent oral and written communication and drafting skills required.
• Location: Must be based in Paris, France.

Nice to have

• Ability to use programming languages such as Python.
