Salary: $100,000 – $130,000

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of DevOps Engineers and Database Administrators, including hiring and mentoring.
• Own the design and reliability of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Manage SQL Server database operations, focusing on performance tuning, indexing, and HA/DR (Always On).
• Embed DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and ensure compliance with SOC 2 frameworks.
• Manage cloud spend and FinOps practices within Azure to optimize workloads and costs.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Product teams to plan releases and platform improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering supporting PaaS/SaaS.
• 2+ years of people management experience leading technical teams.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Entra ID, Azure SQL).
• Strong SQL Server administration skills, including replication and backup/recovery.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications: Azure Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Exposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Azure SQL Managed Instance migrations.
• Experience integrating ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
