What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Develop and support RESTful and streaming APIs for event-driven data ingestion.
• Manage structured and unstructured databases, specifically SQL Server and BigQuery.
• Operate Lakehouse architectures ensuring data integrity, governance, and performance.
• Perform data migration, transformation, and normalization across diverse systems.
• Support the integration of AI and LLM-driven capabilities into the data platform.

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or in a similar technical role.
• Strong expertise in relational and analytical databases, including performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, and transformation.
• Experience building and managing data warehouses, data lakes, or Lakehouse architectures.
• Solid understanding of ETL pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of data security and modern architecture patterns like Medallion or Kimball.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, including structured streaming and pipelines.
• Familiarity with GraphQL for analytics or data access APIs.
• Knowledge of the hospitality or hotel industry, particularly booking engines.
• Experience working with Domo BI tool.
