TL;DR
Principal DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Leading the technical direction of infrastructure, platform, and operational tooling for a luxury e-commerce platform with an accent on scalability, security, and reliability. Focus on designing complex cloud architecture, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and establishing high-level engineering standards.

What you will do
- Own the technical architecture of AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes (EKS), and networking to balance performance and cost.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD for Magento and microservices.
- Define standards for observability (Grafana, NewRelic, OpenSearch), alerting, and incident response.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and Helm to ensure consistency and self-service.
- Act as the final technical escalation point for complex production incidents and lead root-cause analysis.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and architecture guidance to raise technical standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Deep hands-on expertise in AWS and Kubernetes at production scale.
- Expertise in Terraform, Helm, and configuration management.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Proven experience designing CI/CD at scale for high-traffic systems.
- Must be based in Dubai for an onsite hybrid work arrangement.

- Experience supporting large platforms such as Magento/Adobe Commerce or high-volume retail systems.
