What you will do

• Design and build AI platform capabilities on Azure, specifically focusing on agent runtimes, orchestration, and tool integration.
• Define and implement the Agentic AI Platform initiative, establishing how agents are integrated and operated across the organization.
• Create standardized templates for LLM and Generative AI workflows, including prompt design, tool calling, and failure handling.
• Implement secure and governed access patterns for LLMs using APIM, platform gateways, Entra ID, and RBAC.
• Develop LLMOps and AgentOps capabilities, including telemetry, run history, token optimization, and cost-aware usage controls.
• Partner with Cloud Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure AI environments are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

Requirements

• Significant experience as an AI Engineer or AI Platform Engineer delivering production-grade AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and agent-based systems in real-world environments.
• High proficiency in Python and experience building APIs and service-oriented systems.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and versioned deployments.
• Strong understanding of observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing) and telemetry.
• Comfortable working in cloud environments, preferably Azure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM) for governance or integration.
• Familiarity with AgentOps, MLOps, or GenAIOps concepts.
