Senior Product Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Product Engineer (Mixed-signal audio): End-to-end ownership of product launch and optimization for high-performance mixed-signal audio products with an accent on yield & test time improvement, statistical analysis, and manufacturing efficiency. Focus on coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve complex production and quality issues, support customer samples/returns, and drive yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.

What you will do

• Own a product end-to-end to improve yield and test time, execute NPI ramp-to-production, and manage statistical data analysis and reporting for external customers.
• Collaborate with the test team to deliver production-quality test coverage and maintain high standards for statistical analysis and manufacturing efficiency.
• Coordinate with design, test, validation, manufacturing, failure analysis, quality, and operations teams to hit product milestones and resolve complex problems.
• Provide product support for customer samples and returns.
• Support failure analysis, risk assessment, and corrective actions to improve product robustness and production readiness.
• Manage yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) plus 7 years of industry experience.
• Strong statistics background and experience analyzing high-volume data using tools such as Spotfire, JMP, SAS, or dataConductor.
• Experience with DPM reduction via statistical analysis and test coverage reviews.
• Knowledge of hardware design basics and semiconductor reliability basics; experience qualifying 55nm and smaller process nodes.
• Experience with manufacturing/yield-related methods such as CPK analysis, GRR, matrix lot review, OSAT production release, and excursion material disposition.
• Work authorization: must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; hirify.global cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
