System Architect (MBSE)

What you will do

• Develop and govern architecture models representing business processes, system components, and data flows.
• Apply MBSE practices to improve requirements traceability and architecture consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure architecture artifacts reflect mission requirements.
• Support architecture alignment across SAP S/4HANA, logistics, and financial management layers.
• Identify architecture gaps and dependencies while recommending mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership to analysts, engineers, and functional SMEs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 8–12+ years of experience in systems architecture or large-scale system modernization.
• Demonstrated experience with MBSE principles and architecture modeling.
• Experience supporting complex federal, ERP, logistics, or transportation system environments.
• Familiarity with modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or Sparx EA.
• Strong understanding of systems integration, requirements management, and lifecycle engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Transportation Management.
• Knowledge of DoDAF, UAF, SysML, BPMN, or UML frameworks.
• Experience with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Background in cloud-based, DevSecOps, or cybersecurity-enabled enterprise systems.
• Prior experience supporting JDDE or Department of War logistics systems.
