CGI Art Director (3D CGI): Lead the end-to-end development of high-caliber campaign concepts and 3D CGI product/packaging visuals across multiple touchpoints with an accent on unified artistic direction, CGI production quality control, and omni-channel design systems. Focus on managing CGI production governance, collaborating with creative and CGI teams, and delivering under performance constraints while exploring AI tools to advance the work.
Location: Hybrid (Toronto, ON, Canada)
Salary: $90,000–$100,000 CAD annually

What you will do
- Maintain unified artistic direction and a high creative standard for 3D CGI product and packaging work.
- Lead collaborative development from inception to final delivery, including creative governance across the CGI production process.
- Establish and maintain quality control, and manage production expectations with attention to talent and resourcing.
- Communicate project status, prioritized goals, and updated timelines to creative project teams.
- Partner with Creative Directors, Designers, Retouchers, and CGI artists to keep projects on time and at a high quality bar.
- Develop overarching campaign visuals and design directions; participate in brainstorming and internal reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in CGI as a Sr. Artist Art Director.
- 4+ years of experience in CPG-focused content production.
- Expert fluency with CGI content creation tools: Maya, Houdini, Blender; rendering with Vray, Redshift, and Karma.
- Strong working knowledge of the Adobe and Substance suite.
- Deep understanding of the CGI process (modeling, compositing, texturing, lighting, rendering, retouching) and CGI production pipelines.
- Ability to work under performance constraints, make decisions, communicate clearly, and deliver high-quality visuals to tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Knowledge and interest in emerging technologies, including AI tools for advancing CGI work.
- Degree or diploma in CGI/Advertising & Marketing or a related field.
