What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST-based APIs and system integrations.
• Perform code reviews and ensure high engineering standards across the codebase.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, testers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, refinement sessions, estimation, and solution design.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of team architecture and development practices.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Java 17 or similar modern versions.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Proven track record of developing REST APIs and working with PostgreSQL.
• Experience working within Scrum teams and performing code reviews.
• Fluent Danish (spoken and written) is required.
• Must be able to work onsite full-time in Copenhagen.
• Use of AI-assisted or agentic programming tools is not permitted.

Nice to have

• Experience with Groovy and Spock.
• Knowledge of containerized environments and deployment tooling (Jenkins, Rancher, Helm).
• Background in large enterprise or public sector solutions.
• Experience collaborating closely with frontend teams.
