What you will do

• Analyze and provide technical input on storage features using technologies like Apache Iceberg, Databricks, and ClickHouse.
• Define and drive analysis for backup target-near features and validate data retention and lifecycle management.
• Review encryption and key management concepts to identify potential security risks and gaps.
• Analyze and maintain REST APIs, ensuring usability, consistency, and up-to-date documentation.
• Utilize monitoring dashboards and KPIs to derive insights for technical prioritization and decision-making.
• Coordinate with R&D engineers and Product Managers to validate design decisions and support on-prem release activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical or product analysis within software, storage, or platform domains.
• Strong knowledge of object and block storage, deduplication, and table formats (e.g., Apache Iceberg).
• Proficiency in REST API design, including structure, authentication, and versioning.
• Understanding of ransomware and malware detection techniques as they apply to storage and backup solutions.
• Ability to build and operate virtualization labs (e.g., VMware) for independent system investigation.
• Must be permanently based in the Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the differences between SaaS and on-prem enterprise release processes.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products or related backup and recovery components.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
