Sr Product Manager (Privacy)

TL;DR

Sr Product Manager (Privacy): Driving strategy and execution for hirify.global's privacy product portfolio with an accent on translating global regulations into scalable product capabilities. Focus on implementing Consumer Rights Management (DSAR), Consent Management, and Preference Management solutions across enterprise scale.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in New York, NY (minimum 4 days per week in office)

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end privacy product portfolio, defining long-term strategy and executable roadmaps.
• Translate GDPR, CPRA/CCPA, and other global data protection laws into technical specifications and operational frameworks.
• Ship and scale privacy products including Consumer Rights Management (DSAR), Consent Management, and Preference Management.
• Integrate SaaS platforms using APIs, SFTP, and other data exchange mechanisms.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, legal, security, and operations.
• Influence executive leadership and manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience with a focus on data privacy, trust, or compliance products.
• Deep understanding of global privacy regulations such as GDPR and CPRA/CCPA.
• Proven experience delivering and scaling enterprise-level privacy solutions.
• Strong technical acumen and experience with API integrations and data architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Product Management, or equivalent.
• Must be able to work from the New York office at least 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Privacy certifications such as CIPM, CIPP/E, or CIPP/US.
• Experience in the media, entertainment, or digital content industry.
• Proficiency with Jira for roadmap planning and backlog management.
• Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors.
