What you will do

• Maintain frequent professional communication with working-level officials at CAC, MIIT, MPS, and related bureaus.
• Track, organize, and drive timely responses for regulatory notifications, inspections, and rectification tasks.
• Monitor regulatory developments and special enforcement campaigns to flag risks and coordinate mitigation.
• Partner with Legal, Security, Product, BD, and Marketing to operationalize compliant launches and features.
• Maintain organized government relations records, including meeting notes, action logs, and filing calendars.
• Prepare briefing materials and talking points for regulator meetings and executive engagements.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in government affairs, regulatory operations, or compliance at a tech, internet, or education company in China.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating inspections/filings and managing cross-functional responses under tight timelines.
• Practical familiarity with China regulatory areas: online content governance, data privacy, AI supervision, minors-protection, or cybersecurity.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills for tracking compliance evidence.
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication in Chinese; professional proficiency in English.

• Hands-on experience with internet company compliance issues and government engagements.
• Proven track record of closing rectification items to regulator satisfaction.
• Prior work in edtech or platform compliance regarding content governance and minors-protection.
