What you will do
- Maintain and troubleshoot local office infrastructure, including networking hardware, switches, firewalls, and server racks.
- Manage all support activities strictly through the ticketing system to ensure SLA compliance and tracking.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Jordan-based users to maximize productivity.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets using the IT Asset Management system.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to implement ITIL best practices and corporate security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of on-ground technical support experience with a focus on network infrastructure.
- ITIL Foundation certification (highly preferred or required).
- Foundational knowledge of network support, including configuration of switches, firewalls, and routing.
- Proficiency in ticket-driven environments (e.g., Jira Service Management) and asset management tools.
- Must be based in Amman, Jordan.
Nice to have
- Additional certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+.
- Practical familiarity with AI tools to enhance internal IT workflows and automation.
