What you will do
- Oversee the overall animation codebase and maintain cross-system functionality.
- Prototype and implement main character animation systems.
- Ensure smooth cooperation between game logic and animation systems.
- Conduct R&D to stay updated with the latest animation technology and industry trends.
- Optimize animation code for console platforms including PS5 and XSX.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
- Experience with Gameplay Ability System (GAS) and UE animation systems.
- Proven experience working on UE-based AA/AAA titles in a similar role.
- Strong skills in profiling and optimization (multithreading, fast path, rewind debugger).
- Experience in prototyping and implementing locomotion systems.
- Knowledge of VS2022 and Perforce (P4).
