What you will do

• Support and evolve production database infrastructure using PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, replication, backup/restore, and failover.
• Analyze and optimize database performance, queries, and workloads.
• Automate database operations, scaling, and maintenance through IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Design architecture and mentor engineers (for senior-level candidates).

Requirements

• Professional experience in database engineering, DBA, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and at least one distributed system (ClickHouse, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Vertica).
• Strong knowledge of HA/DR, replication, backup/restore, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Graylog).
• Experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• English: B1+ proficiency required for written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Deep production experience with ClickHouse (replication, sharding, MergeTree).
• Advanced PostgreSQL expertise (logical replication, partitioning, extensions).
• Experience with Patroni, repmgr, pgBackRest, Barman, or PgBouncer.
• Experience with Kubernetes, bare metal, or private cloud environments.
• Knowledge of MinIO or Ceph.
• Experience in high-load domains such as trading, betting, adtech, or e-commerce.
