TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Sheffield (1-2 days a week in office)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design, build, and enhance scalable applications using C# .NET.
• Deliver cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure services.
• Manage source code with Git and support CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Maintain and modernize existing legacy VB.NET applications.
• Support frontend delivery using modern frameworks such as React.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience developing with C# .NET.
• Practical experience using Azure for building and deploying applications.
• Proficiency with Git and an understanding of CI/CD workflows.
• Exposure to DevOps principles, including automated builds and testing.
• Strong grounding in software engineering best practices and Agile delivery methods.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Sheffield

Nice to have

• Experience working with or modernizing VB.NET applications.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React or Next.js.
• Familiarity with microservices-based architectures and API design.
• Appreciation of UX principles and experience collaborating with design teams.
