What you will do

• Develop full-stack features using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high system performance.
• Design and implement event-driven workflows using Event Store.
• Modernize platform components to .NET 8+ and Svelte.js with containerized deployments.
• Automate infrastructure using Pulumi and Azure DevOps.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and maintain engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK
• 5+ years of varied software engineering experience, ideally with scalable systems.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET, including async/await and memory management.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization and execution plans.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.
• Experience with distributed systems, monoliths, or microservices.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ElasticSearch, Event Store, Neo4j, InfluxDB, or Power BI.
• Experience with micro-ORMs such as PetaPoco.
• Cloud infrastructure experience, particularly with Azure.
• Strong grasp of clean code principles, OOP design, and software patterns.
