TL;DR
Backend Developer (PHP/AI): Building and maintaining backend services for a loyalty system with an accent on AI-driven development and end-to-end ownership. Focus on designing scalable microservices, integrating LLM tools like Claude Code, and ensuring production quality through automated testing.
Location: Remote within Poland
Salary: 10,400 – 25,000 PLN (depending on contract type and seniority)

What you will do
- Build and maintain backend services using PHP, Laravel, and Symfony.
- Own initiatives end-to-end from technical discovery and design to production and customer impact.
- Design scalable solutions balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
- Integrate AI tools (Claude Code, MCP servers) into the development, testing, and documentation lifecycle.
- Write automated tests and take full ownership of the quality of shipped code.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Specialists, and other engineers in an agile environment.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel and/or Symfony.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) in real software development.
- Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and modern backend architecture.
- Experience with MySQL (MariaDB), MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Must be based in Poland.
- Communicative proficiency in both English and Polish.
Nice to have
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of Event Sourcing architecture.
