What you will do

• Collaborate with leaders on organization design, structure, and workforce planning to support strategic business objectives.
• Execute performance management initiatives, including coaching on goal setting and driving review cycles within a global framework.
• Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning to identify critical roles and build a high-performing organization.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and transfers.
• Ensure strict compliance with Japanese labor laws, regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Drive the adoption of AI and automation technologies to transform People Team processes and employee experience in Japan.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in HR functions.
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English.
• Experience supporting HR compliance, employee relations, and labor risk management specifically in Japan.
• Ability to influence leadership and work effectively in a multinational, matrixed environment.
• Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and change management skills.
• Deep knowledge of current HR trends and talent management practices.
