What you will do

• Build AI-powered product features integrated into real insurance workflows.
• Design and optimize LLM-based interactions and reasoning flows for production use cases.
• Improve AI reliability through guardrails, fallback logic, and validation layers.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate AI capabilities into APIs and workflows.
• Implement AI-driven automation features including chat, recommendations, and decision support.
• Evaluate model performance using real-world data, feedback loops, and A/B testing.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background in production environments.
• Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models).
• Proficiency in prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool use patterns.
• Strong understanding of API-based system integration.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs using data and user feedback.
• Must be based in Malaysia for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
