What you will do

• Manage incident response for malware, phishing, and digital forensics.
• Design and evaluate new corporate security controls for a high-growth environment.
• Perform threat hunting across log sources to identify emerging risks.
• Implement security alerts and workflows to optimize the incident response lifecycle.
• Secure corporate IT infrastructure, including identity providers and endpoints.
• Deploy and operate security tooling with a focus on business impact.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, Sydney, or Melbourne
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or incident response within a tech company.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Crowdstrike, Splunk, or similar security monitoring tools.
• Deep understanding of attacker techniques and forensic investigation.
• Experience with MDM tooling such as Kandji or Intune.

Nice to have

• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Powershell.
• Experience with GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Okta, or Google Workspace.
