What you will do

• Own the ground support equipment (GSE) strategy for the Hybrid Powertrain.
• Manage certification, testing, and operational definitions for refueling (electric and liquid), cooling, hydraulics, and power management.
• Lead systems engineering related to GSE operations, repair, and maintenance.
• Oversee the design lifecycle, interfacing closely with manufacturing and operational teams.
• Present technical designs and rationale to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in a related scientific or engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in ground support equipment or complex systems engineering.
• Strong demonstrated understanding of GSE specifically within the aviation industry.
• Ability to communicate complex technical rationale to multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reports and documentation.
• Must have valid US work authorization (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with eVTOLs, hybrid-electric aircraft, or hybrid automotive powertrains.
• Familiarity with FAA or EASA certification and airport operations.
• Knowledge of simulation model validation, calibration, and uncertainty quantification.
