What you will do

• Lead end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and growth targets for virtualization products across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud deployments.
• Manage both inbound and outbound product management, synthesizing market analysis and customer requirements into PRFAQs and product specifications.
• Define virtualization value propositions, including performance benchmarks and TCO advantages, to support GTM strategies.
• Build and maintain tight alignment with leading hypervisor and hyperscaler partners, services, and sales teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across Engineering, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to deliver quality releases.
• Act as the virtualization subject matter authority and external evangelist for customers and industry forums.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Jose, California
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in product management, marketing, or business operations.
• 5+ years of experience with virtualization across multiple hypervisor vendors and hybrid cloud environments.
• 10+ years of experience in the storage and/or data management industry.
• Deep knowledge of vendors like Broadcom/VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, SUSE, and Nutanix, and experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced technical degree.
• Experience with containers and modern infrastructure, including Kubernetes.
• Experience with enterprise database and application platforms such as Microsoft SQL, SAP HANA, and Oracle Database.
• Familiarity with hirify.global's specific product portfolio and competitive landscape.
