What you will do

• Produce finished intelligence on ransomware actors, including detailed actor profiles, attribution assessments, and operational reporting.
• Lead end-to-end blockchain investigations from initial seed indicators to full attribution and recovery opportunities.
• Trace ransomware-related funds across multiple blockchains, bridges, mixers, and peel chains.
• Correlate on-chain activity with OSINT, threat intelligence, and off-chain identity signals.
• Support asset recovery missions by identifying high-quality leads for seizure or freeze opportunities.
• Mentor peer analysts and refine investigative methodologies to strengthen team tradecraft.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required.
• 5-8+ years of professional experience in blockchain intelligence, crypto investigations, or cybercrime analysis.
• Deep hands-on expertise in blockchain tracing and handling obfuscation techniques (mixers, chain-hopping).
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex findings into clear, source-cited written intelligence products.
• Deep domain knowledge of the ransomware ecosystem, including brokers, affiliates, and laundering networks.
• AI fluency: experience leveraging LLMs to accelerate research and augment analytical workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in government, national security, law enforcement, or incident response.
• Proficiency with OSINT and tools like Maltego or Palantir.
• Experience with HUMINT collection via dark web forums and encrypted platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of manual demixing, smart contracts, and Ethereum/TRON investigations.
