What you will do

• Lead research to design and deploy innovative detection methods at scale, from discovery to production.
• Investigate adversarial attack patterns and develop countermeasures resilient to evasion.
• Engineer and curate features across large-scale data pipelines using behavioral and network signals.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to translate research into production-grade rules.
• Own end-to-end research for strategic accounts, including deep-dive traffic analysis and escalation resolution.
• Contribute to detection quality through peer reviews and monitoring production anomalies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with data at scale, with strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven ability to formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and solve ambiguous problems.
• Deep understanding of HTTP, web protocols, and client-server interactions.
• Strong ownership, accountability for impact, and excellent technical communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cybersecurity research (bot operations, fraud, credential stuffing, or scraping).
• Experience with feature engineering for detection or classification systems.
• Knowledge of reputation systems, anomaly detection, or behavioral modeling.
