What you will do

• Own the implementation of small-to-medium features in the React Native app from design through deployment.
• Write maintainable, well-tested TypeScript code meeting high quality, performance, and UX standards.
• Contribute to technical design discussions regarding component architecture, state management, and UI patterns.
• Identify and resolve bugs, address technical debt, and improve app accessibility.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to align implementation with product goals.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to handle production incidents and document learnings.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in TypeScript and experience building React Native applications.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and navigation patterns.
• Experience with CSS/styled-components and responsive mobile layouts.
• Familiarity with Jest for unit testing and exposure to E2E frameworks like Maestro.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding workflows.
• Expertise in building reactive UIs that handle high-frequency data updates via WebSockets.
• Skill in using animations and haptics to enhance critical gameplay moments.
• Experience designing layouts for "second screen" user experiences.
