What you will do

• Lead the month-end close process for European transportation costs, ensuring accurate accruals and cost recognition.
• Perform deep-dive variance analysis on freight and customs duties to identify risks and opportunities against budget.
• Maintain and own transport finance dashboards to provide executive-level insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Global Transport and Procurement teams to support RFQ processes and cost optimization initiatives.
• Resolve complex master data and coding issues to ensure financial compliance and data integrity.
• Contribute to finance and logistics transformation projects, including process automation and advanced Excel modeling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, specifically in planning, reporting, and analysis.
• Proven experience in business partnering within a corporate environment.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting (e.g., CIMA or equivalent).
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or HFM.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Must be based in or able to work from Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics or transport finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI.
