Salary: $186,000 - $232,500 (California) or CAD $137,300 - $171,600 (Vancouver)

What you will do

• Build and advocate for self-service developer tooling to reduce cognitive load.
• Architect and automate scalable end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD.
• Drive declarative GitOps application deployments and workload standardization.
• Oversee SCM architecture and ensure system stability and compliance.
• Implement automated production readiness processes and quality gates.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and provide technical mentorship.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Build and Release Engineering.
• 4–6 years of software development and automation experience with strong Bash scripting skills.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with GitOps methodologies and enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Strong fluency in Go or comparable systems languages.
• Must be eligible to work in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Flux, or Kustomize.
• Familiarity with branching strategies like Trunk-based development or GitFlow.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted coding tools into the SDLC.
