What you will do
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards and applicable industry requirements.
- Lead and administer the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program, including compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and customer nuclear quality requirements.
- Oversee calibration, metrology, and quality laboratory operations (including CMMs and inspection/test equipment) to maintain accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
- Drive environmental and product compliance activities (REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and customer material declarations).
- Lead structured root cause problem solving (8D, RCA) and manage CAPA processes to eliminate defects and prevent recurring issues.
- Serve as primary interface for customer quality and manage customer complaints and RMA analysis; lead regulatory/external audit readiness and closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
- 7–10+ years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3–5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience building and improving QMS in ISO and regulated environments (e.g., Appendix B).
- Proven experience leading external and regulatory audits, including preparation, execution, and closure of findings.
- Advanced knowledge of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies (8D, RCA, and related tools).
- Ability to travel to customer or supplier sites on an irregular basis.
