Quality Manager

What you will do

• Assure compliance with ISO quality requirements, manage the registrar relationship, and lead cross-functional internal audit teams.
• Run management reviews of the quality system and adjust it to align with business strategy.
• Deploy quality goals into operational plans and improvement projects; maintain quality KPIs (e.g., warranty, internal PPM).
• Facilitate problem-solving and process management using tools such as root cause analysis, PDCA, 8D, and quality control/management tools.
• Drive process and product improvements to reduce internal defects and warranty cost across foundry and pump plant manufacturing.
• Lead quality specifications, testing procedures, and proactive approvals for product design and product changes; support supplier management and customer expectations.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or a similar technical discipline (BS in Metallurgy preferred).
• 5+ years of experience managing/supervising quality systems and processes, including at least 3 years in a decision-making role responsible for outcomes.
• Experience with foundry or foundry supplier management preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop teams across manufacturing personnel, managers, and suppliers; hands-on, self-starting approach.
• Strong knowledge of solid and fluid mechanics fundamentals; ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills; experience handling multiple projects and driving bottom-line results.
