Security Architect (Anti-Piracy)

TL;DR

Security Architect (Anti-Piracy): Designing and improving security across hirify.global’s anti-piracy technology estate with an accent on vulnerability management, secure-by-design principles, and threat modelling. Focus on securing hybrid cloud/on-premise environments, conducting security assessments for IPTV and streaming ecosystems, and leading R&D for anti-piracy countermeasures.

Location: Must be based in the UK. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office at the Osterley Campus, London.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain security architecture baselines for the anti-piracy estate.
• Own vulnerability management, including analysis, penetration testing, and remediation tracking.
• Conduct security assessments across IPTV, Android devices, and cloud backends.
• Partner with engineering and SRE teams to embed secure-by-design practices.
• Define and document security standards and architectural patterns.
• Design and evaluate proof-of-concepts for detection and disruption operations.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK is mandatory (no sponsorship provided).
• Experience in security engineering, infrastructure, or systems administration.
• Understanding of security architecture frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, preferably GCP.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to develop into a full architecture role.

Nice to have

• Experience with penetration testing or application security testing.
• Exposure to media, streaming, or content delivery platforms.
• Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
