E-Commerce Analytics Intern

TL;DR

E-Commerce Analytics Intern (SQL/Python/Databricks/Power BI): Automating data pipelines and building reporting for online sales performance with an accent on AWS S3 → Databricks → Power BI ETL, pipeline reliability, and data visualization. Focus on scheduled ingestion, ETL script development, and integrating Databricks queries into Power BI for faster, real-time decision support.

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the office)

What you will do

• Automate data ingestion from AWS S3 to Databricks using PySpark and scheduled jobs.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ETL pipelines in Databricks that feed Power BI reports.
• Schedule and troubleshoot regular data syncs across S3, Databricks, and Power BI for near real-time reporting.
• Optimize data flows to reduce latency and improve Power BI performance.
• Use GitHub for version control of pipeline scripts and SQL queries.
• Document Power BI dataset connections to Databricks Delta Tables and integrate Databricks queries via Direct Lake or ODBC.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, and Databricks for data analysis and pipeline development.
• Comfort working with large datasets and writing clean, efficient code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data accuracy.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Must be registered as a student for the entire internship period.
