What you will do

• Design and implement features to improve Lustre deployability, operability, and lifecycle management.
• Deliver production-quality features across Lustre and system integration layers.
• Participate in upstream Lustre development and integrate features into an enterprise distribution.
• Debug and resolve complex distributed system issues, focusing on performance and failure handling.
• Perform system-level performance tuning and benchmarking for large-scale AI/HPC workloads.
• Collaborate with hardware, support, and product teams to deliver a complete storage solution.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in distributed systems, storage systems, or filesystem development.
• Deep expertise in Lustre architecture and its behavior in production environments.
• Strong systems programming skills in C and Linux.
• Proven ability to debug complex issues across distributed system boundaries.
• Familiarity with HPC or AI infrastructure.
• Experience with open-source development models and contributing to upstream communities.
